General Information Name: 손담비 Son Dambi Age: 27 Position: Nurse Birthplace: Seoul, South Korea Background Dambi always knew she wanted to help people, and she knew from an early age that she wanted to grow up to be a nurse. At the time, she didn't know what kind of nurse she wanted to be, but her life's events would soon reveal to her the perfect route to take. When Dambi was 14, her parents died in a fatal car accident, leaving her and her two-year-old sister in the care of their grandparents. A few years later, her grandfather died of natural causes, and soon after, her grandmother's mental health began to slip. She began to develop Alzheimers, and it was up to Dambi to begin taking care of both her grandmother and her sister. It wasn't until her grandmother eventually passed away that Dambi realized what career path she wanted to take, and, along with her sister, she packed her bags and moved to Japan. Dambi somehow managed to juggle practicing her Japanese, two jobs, and school while taking care of her sister, and she soon landed a job at a local Mental Institution. She worked there for some time, but she craved more. Though she loved her job and the patients she worked with, she wanted to continue somewhere new. With wonderful timing, Dambi's sister expressed the desire to return to Korea, and after contacting family members in Seoul, Dambi sent her sister home before transferring to Bakuzen Byouin.
